Jets Sato July's #1 Pitcher Sunday, August 1st , 2032 When Shintaro Sato strolls in from the bullpen, he is a good bet to nail down the victory for the Johnstown Jets. That's the way it was last month as he performed his job in an almost flawless fashion. Today he was honored as July's Pitcher of the Month by the Zaphod Conference. The Johnstown pitcher compiled a 1-0 record, 12 saves, 13 strikeouts and a 1.69 ERA in 16 innings over 15 relief appearances. This year Sato has 13 saves in 31 relief appearances with a 3-3 record and 2.88 ERA. |
