Torres Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 26th , 2032 Andy Torres kept his eye on the ball last week and now all eyes are on him. The South Bend Cubs center fielder easily swung his way to the Ford Conference Player of the Week Award with 14 hits in 30 at-bats. Torres hit .467 last week with 2 home runs, 9 RBIs and 8 runs scored. This year Torres is hitting .336 with 21 home runs and 75 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .447 clip and scored 82 runs. |
