The first baseman for the Wolfville Farmers hit the milestone today against the Rural Retreat Tsunami, helping his club to a narrow 14-13 victory. Werner finished with a 6-for-6 line at the plate. "Werner was a tough out today," Rural Retreat manager Pancho Rivera told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Pieter Werner doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
