Wild Not Competitive in 9-0 Loss to Terry
Tuesday, July 13th , 2032
Today was Vincent Sterrenburg's turn in the rotation for the Terry Swallows and he made the most of it, shutting out the Cranbrook Wild on 3 hits.
The 20-year-old right-hander led the Swallows to an easy 9-0 victory, allowing 1 walk and tallying 5 strikeouts.
"I hope we miss him next time," Cranbrook manager Alex Spencer said. "Sterrenburg certainly pitched a strong game against us today. He was in a groove, throwing everything for strikes. Throwing hard. Changing speeds."
This year Sterrenburg has compiled a 3-7 record with a 7.39 ERA in 11 starts.
