Horswill Red-Hot, ZAP Player of the Week Monday, July 12th , 2032 Pitchers who faced the Dutton Tigers last week were happy to see Michael Horswill in the rear-view mirror. The 19-year-old first baseman was dubbed the Zaphod Conference Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .409 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 9 runs scored. This season Horswill has hit 16 home runs and posted a .309 batting average. |
