Merz Week's #1 Player Monday, July 5th , 2032 The Zaphod Conference has named its Top Player of the Week. The honor went to Graig Merz, third baseman of the Miami Matadors. In an extraordinary hitting display, he belted out hits at a .625 pace to win the award. Merz went 10-for-16 for the week, totaled 3 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 10 times. So far on the season Merz is hitting .304 with 16 home runs, 61 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 91 hits and played in 72 games. |
