Gilbert Takes Home ZAP Top Batter Award Thursday, July 1st , 2032 Evan Gilbert may be much younger than other hitters in the Zaphod Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in June to win the Batter of the Month award. The 17-year-old Brevard County right fielder hit .394 with 7 home runs, 34 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This season in 72 games, Gilbert has hit at a .372 clip with 106 hits, 21 home runs, 84 RBIs and 65 runs scored. |
