Gilbert Torches Yellow Jacket for 6 Hits Sunday, June 27th , 2032 It was a parade of hits for Evan Gilbert of the Brevard County Manatees at Cyclone Alley today. Connecting with regularity, Gilbert finished the day with a total of 6 hits in 6 at-bats, but the Yellow Jacket rose to the occasion and rained on his parade with a 11-10 win. "Gilbert was really good, we were just a little better," said Yellow Jacket manager Mike Robinson in the postgame interview. "It's all right with me if he gets 6 hits every game against us, as long as we win." Evan Gilbert doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marcos Camberos in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
