Gilbert Hits for Cycle Against Pittsburgh Sunday, June 27th , 2032 Evan Gilbert won the battle against the Pittsburgh Yellow Jacket, but lost the war. The Brevard County Manatees right fielder hit for the cycle today, but it wasn't enough to bring home victory. The Manatees fell to the Yellow Jacket 11-10 at Cyclone Alley. "Evan did great but we couldn't put everything together today," Brevard County manager Darrell Kaiser said after the game. Gilbert collected 6 hits -- 2 singles, 2 doubles, 1 triple and 1 home run -- plus 3 RBI and 2 runs scored. Evan Gilbert doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Marcos Camberos in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
