Red-Hot Bat: Southorn Collects Cycle

Today at Staples Center, Juarez Buzzards left fielder Al Southorn accomplished a true baseball rarity, knocking a single, double, triple and a home run to hit for the cycle and lead the Buzzards to a 29-0 win over the Eureka Guardians.
In a standout performance, Southorn laced 4 hits in 4 at-bats and had 4 runs batted in.
"I felt good before the game, I felt good during it, and I feel great now," Southorn told reporters.
Al Southorn walked in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Xander van Bekenes in the 4th, tripled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, walked in the 7th, walked in the 8th and walked in the 8th.
This season Southorn is hitting at a .382 pace with 12 home runs, 42 RBIs and has scored 57 times.
