Farmers End Ross's Streak Saturday, May 15th , 2032 Rob Ross's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 21 games today as the Squirrel Hill Pirates dropped their contest with the Wolfville Farmers 2-0 at South End Stadium. Ross failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-1. After the game Ross spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Ross is presently hitting at a .463 pace with 10 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has played in 29 games and scored 34 times. |
