van de Par Touches All Bases, Hits for Cycle Sunday, May 9th , 2032 Chiefs left fielder Magnus van de Par made big news today in Kauai's 12-1 victory over the Stockton Peaches. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run. "My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," van de Par said later. Magnus van de Par struck out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Jorge Hernández in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th.
