Morris Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, May 6th , 2031 The Miami Matadors fell to the Tiefengrund Tropics in John Lee Pettimore Field today, even as 21-year-old catcher Rowan Morris upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Morris finished with 2 hits in 5 at-bats, but could not stop the Matadors from dropping the 6-5 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Morris. Rowan Morris grounded out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and singled in the 10th. For the year Morris is batting .463 with 4 home runs, 18 RBIs and 15 runs scored. |
