Hat Trick of Home Runs for Arwood Wednesday, May 28th , 2031 The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Zach Arwood did today at Ghosts Ballpark, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 12-11. "It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Arwood said. "Good things happen, when that happens." The Cathedral Panthers left fielder blistered the West Monroe Monarchs for 4 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times. "It ain't like we weren't trying," West Monroe manager Rick Huisman said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today." Zach Arwood hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Francis Adams in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Sergio Zamora in the 7th, struck out in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit a solo-shot off Cecil Frazier in the 13th. Arwood currently has a .386 batting average with 51 hits, 16 homers, 34 RBIs, 25 runs scored and a .434 OBP. |
