5-Hit Blitz by Toronto's Paschini Thursday, August 5th , 2032 There aren't many who could be pro ballplayers and there are even fewer who could put up 5 hits in a day. Angelo Paschini is one of those rare few, as he went 5-for-5 against the Kansas City Scouts at The Castle of Kansas City today. The monster effort from the 27-year-old second baseman helped the Toronto Red Birds take the win, 6-2. "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it," said Scouts manager Shane Andrews. "That's the game, though. Don't make mistakes and you'll win ballgames. Make mistakes and, well, you saw what happened today." Angelo Paschini singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.
