The 2021 VBL Cardenas Cup tournament was wrapped up today with a victory by the South Side Enforcers. With the win, the countdown officially begins until the next tournament.

CARD News: Playoffs begin

The easy part is over. Starting today, the Opening Round will move into postseason competition, pitting the best against one another until a champion is crowned. First-round play begins with these matchups:
Uranus Fudge versus South Side Enforcers, D.C. Teddys versus Kittanning Union, Shelbyville Reds versus Brooklyn Bats, McCleary Sasquatch versus Hawaii Islanders, El Paso Chihuahuas versus Kiawah Island Muckdogs, Toronto Red Birds versus Oklahoma City Cyclones, Saint Louis Browns versus Sausalito Meatballs and Albuquerque Atomics versus Austin BigStars.

The first round of the 2021 VBL Cardenas Cup is over. The remaining teams will now ramp up their efforts to capture the title, while the rest will head home to lick their wounds and plan for the next one.
