Mueller Swings for the Cycle
Thursday, April 22nd , 2004
Bill Mueller had a special day at American Legion Field, contributing to the 10-8 AZL Athletics win and hitting for the cycle along the way.

The 33-year-old third baseman went 4-for-5, raking a single, double, triple and home run against the Danville Braves.

"Boy, Bill had himself a ballgame, didn't he?" AZL manager Max Welker said later. "You don't see that very often."

For the day, Mueller finished with 4 runs batted in and 1 run scored to go with his 4 hits.

Bill Mueller flied out in the 1st, hit a three-run triple in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Andres Diaz in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
