Moeller Goes on Rampage Against White Sox Wednesday, April 13th , 2005 Chad Moeller got the glory and the headlines, but the AZL White Sox left with the win. The Johnson City catcher easily handled the White Sox pitching, going 6-for-7, but his Johnson City Cardinals came out on the short end of the 22-20 score. Moeller told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end." Chad Moeller doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. |
