Brooklyn reliever Tony Pluta will be out of the lineup for 6 months. He informed the Cyclones skipper that he hurt himself while falling off a ladder and sustained a broken bone in the elbow.

Pluta has allowed opponents a batting average of .278 throughout his career and he has rung up 82 strikeouts in 81.2 innings, while registering no saves in 16 games. His record is 2 wins-7 losses with a 5.73 ERA.
