Hernandez Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

Jamestown center fielder Bobby Hernandez keeps on racking up hits every time he plays.
His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Bowen Field. The Jammers earned the 9-4 victory over the Bluefield Orioles.
"I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Hernandez said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Bobby Hernandez struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jordan Flores in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
So far this season, Hernandez is batting .309 with 11 home runs.
