Webb Goes 5-for-6 Thursday, August 26th , 2004 The Raptors downed the Emeralds, 13-4, at Civic Stadium as Trey Webb exploded for 5 hits. "A couple times, I got a pretty good pitch to hit," the Ogden second baseman told reporters in the postgame interview. "A couple times, I had to work for it. But I think they underestimated my abilities." Trey Webb singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Wilmer Villatoro in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. In 23 games this year, Webb has posted a .433 average and put up these numbers: 5 home runs, 22 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
