Season Ends for Miguel Peña of Butler
Monday, August 2nd , 2032
Butler starting pitcher Miguel Peña could miss the remainder of the season because of a damaged elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Foxborough game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Peña would be out 13-14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

So far this season Peña has a record of 5-6 with 59 strikeouts and 19 walks in 76 innings and a 4.14 ERA.
