Off-Field Injury Strikes Haywood Bader Friday, July 30th , 2032 The Foxborough Warriors might have angered Lady Luck. Their first baseman, Haywood Bader, was injured yesterday while trying to get his child out into the car seat and he suffered a broken bone in the elbow. According to team physicians, the injury will keep him off the playing field for about 7-8 months. This year Bader is hitting .258 with 3 home runs and 30 RBIs in 88 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .340 with 26 walks and 37 runs scored. |
