Falcons Juan Wellington Down and Out for Year Monday, July 12th , 2032 Juan Wellington has to call it a season. The Torrey Pines Falcons reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fightin' Irish and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Wellington was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a sore shoulder and stated that he would not be able to play for 4-5 months. So far, Wellington has earned 1 save in 6 relief appearances. He has 35 strikeouts and 17 walks in 52.2 innings while registering a 3.59 ERA and a 1-3 won-lost record. |
