Warner Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Friday, July 9th , 2032 Millard Warner has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 16-year-old Simeon Wolverines catcher extended his streak today to 25 games, going 1-for-3 as Simeon got the best of the Terra Nova Tigers at San Jose Municipal Stadium, 5-3. "Millard has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Wolverines manager Mike Mansfield said. Millard Warner singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. This year Warner is hitting .365 with 22 home runs. |
