ML Star of the Week Named Monday, June 21st , 2032 It was announced today by the Marvin League that Indian Trail first baseman Tom Yates had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. The Indian Trail first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers, pounding them for a .500 average (11-for-22) with 5 home runs and 10 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This year Yates has socked 63 hits in 235 at-bats for a .268 average with 15 home runs. He is getting on base at a .335 pace and his totals also include 36 RBIs and 34 runs scored. |
