Greyhounds Lose Coburn for Season
Monday, June 14th , 2032
The season is finished for Brian Coburn of the Saint John Greyhounds. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Greyhounds reliever suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Valley Christian Defenders. Team doctors said it would take at least 8-9 months to heal.

Taking a look at this year, Brian Coburn has made 9 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 1-0 won-lost mark and a 5.71 ERA. In pitching 17.1 innings, he has totaled 13 strikeouts and 11 walks.
