John Jay's Watts Injured, Out of Lineup Sunday, June 13th , 2032 A blow for Tom Watts today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a fractured elbow. Watts suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the John Jay Patriots are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Watts's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Currently Watts has 14 saves. In 24 relief appearances he has hurled 25 innings, struck out 38 and issued 3 walks with a 3-2 record. The John Jay reliever has recorded a 1.44 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .213 when he is on the mound. |
