Holmes Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, June 1st , 2032 Andy Holmes of the Yorktown Patriots tagged 1 hit in today's 9-5 loss to the Saline Samurai at Timberjacks Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Andy Holmes walked in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and flied out in the 7th. Thus far this year Holmes has hit .321 with 12 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
