Jackson 5-for-5 for Bearcats Thursday, May 20th , 2032 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jon Jackson. The Monroe Bearcats center fielder tore up the Butler Golden Tornado to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Bannerwood Park today. The offensive onslaught from Jackson powered the Bearcats to a 10-5 win. "Jackson was a tough out today," Butler manager Miguel Angel Gracía said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jon Jackson singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Brad Weber in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Tomás Rivera in the 8th.
