5-Hit Game for Glenn Friday, May 14th , 2032 Fans at Fiondella Field got to see not only a home-team victory today, but also one of the most impressive feats of hitting of the season. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors outplayed the Knox Central Panthers en route to a 9-3 win, but the standout was left fielder Reed Glenn. Glenn netted 5 hits in 5 at-bats and finished with a dynamite game line. "Hey, we tried everything we could think of to get him out," Panthers manager Jose Hernandez said in postgame comments. "We threw everything but the kitchen sink against him and he hit it. Maybe we should've thrown the sink, too." Reed Glenn singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Glenn is currently hitting at a .301 pace with 1 home run and 8 RBIs.
