Plummer Belts 5 Hits Saturday, May 1st , 2032 It was a sensational day at the plate for Monroe Bearcats left fielder Chris Plummer, but a tough one for the team, as the Bearcats dropped the contest 14-4 to the Parkview Panthers. Even with the loss, Plummer was pure misery for the Parkview pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked after going 5-for-5 in an explosive display of hitting. "It's always good to get a bunch of hits in a game, but you also want to win," said Plummer, who is the 15-year old left fielder . "Plummer really hit the ball hard and when you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage," Panthers manager Mike Caruso told BNN reporters after the game. "I feel like we threw him some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Chris Plummer singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
