Lynx Marcus Clayton Down and Out for Year Thursday, April 22nd , 2032 The doctors have spoken and Marcus Clayton of the Lincoln Lynx didn't like what he heard. The 16-year-old starting pitcher is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Clayton sustained his season-ending injury during the Chesterton Trojans game yesterday at Bart Kaufman Field. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Lincoln medical staff reported Clayton had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 13 months. |
