Warhawks Held Hitless by Fontaine
Wednesday, April 21st , 2032
Julien Fontaine relied on excellent pitch selection and pinpoint control to hold James Madison hitless in a 4-0 win at Appalachian Power Park today.

"Nobody goes out to pitch a no-hitter," he said later. "We just go out and try to get a win. A 10-9 win is better than a 1-0 loss. My pitching buddies might not be too happy giving up nine runs but a win is a win. The key to it today was I mixed my pitches well. I kept the Warhawks off balance and guessing the whole game."

The 17-year-old starter rung up 9 strikeouts and 1 walk in whipping the Warhawks.

"When a guy is throwing strikes the way he was and is locating well, it is going to be a long day for any club," James Madison skipper Jeffery Williams said.
