Plug Pulled on Hamon -- Skipper Fired in Deer Creek Friday, October 24th , 2031 You can't fire the players when times get tough. Pierre Hamon learned that the hard way today as he was dismissed from his managerial position with the Deer Creek Demolition. Citing a need to "shake things up," a team official said it was time to move on. "We respect what Pierre has done for the club and we thank him for his time here, but we just think the future of the Demolition needs to be handled by someone else and needs to move in a different direction," said club general manager Joe Unknown in a prepared statement. For his part, Hamon remained upbeat about the decision. "I know it's a business and sometimes you've just got to make a change," he said. "I want to thank Deer Creek for the opportunity to manage here." Team officials are expected to announce an interim manager in the next few days. |
