Coyotes Win Divisional Round Friday, October 3rd , 2031 The party is on for Wylie Coyotes fans, while disappointment reigns for those fans in Boone County. The Coyotes eliminated the Boone County Rebels in the Divisional Round at Jim Patterson Stadium today and will now move on to the Semi-Finals. "It's a big letdown and not what we want to be feeling," said Boone County manager Eddie Clement after the loss. Wylie won the final game by a score of 4-2 and took the series 4-1. "We want to bring a championship home to our city, that's all there is to it. Everyone wants it badly for themselves, but we want it for Wylie too," said Carlos Hernández, whose strong pitching performances during the series earned him MVP honors. Hernández had a 0.00 ERA over 8 innings during the Divisional Round. He added 3 strikeouts with a 2-0 record. The Wylie Coyotes don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Saint John Greyhounds - Valley Central Vikings series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece.
