Wylie Advances to Divisional Round Friday, September 26th , 2031 The joy and relief on the faces of the Wylie Coyotes players was obvious as they celebrated their Wildcard Round win over the West Monroe Monarchs. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Wylie first baseman Alvin Gray, shortly after the 7-0 win that clinched the series 4-3. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Divisional Round. Gray won series MVP honors on the strength of his .406 batting average during the series. He also had a .406 on-base percentage and 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 7 runs. The Wylie Coyotes will play against the Boone County Rebels in the next round.
