No Late-Season Magic Coming: Rio Americano Out of Playoffs Wednesday, September 17th , 2031 Dave Mulryne said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Rio Americano Raiders after they missed the National High School Federation playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Rio Americano last appeared in the postseason in 2025. This is their 6th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 19-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Raiders have only made the playoffs once. |
