Seahawks End Salazar's Streak Monday, September 15th , 2031 Octávio Salazar's sizzling hitting streak was snapped at 30 games today as the Sullivan West Bulldogs dropped their contest with the South River Seahawks 2-1 at Alumni Field. Salazar failed to get a hit, finishing 0-for-4. After the game Salazar spoke with BNN and called his effort "quite a streak." "I just ran into some good pitching today," he said. Thus far this season Salazar has hit .339 with 26 home runs, 102 RBIs and scored 109 times. |
