Hitting Streak Still Alive for Salazar Sunday, September 14th , 2031 Octávio Salazar has been ripping hits every day for a while now, and nobody seems able to stop him. The Sullivan West third baseman picked up 2 more today against the South River Seahawks and now has a 30-game hitting streak. The Bulldogs won the game 3-2. "Definitely somebody's going to stop me at some point," he said later, chuckling. "I'll enjoy it for the time being." Octávio Salazar struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, struck out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th. For the year Salazar is batting .342 with 26 home runs. |
