Nipmuc Regional Takes Wildcard Round Monday, September 27th , 2032 The sweet swing of Enrico Dueñas has led his team through the Wildcard Round. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors star earned series MVP honors as his club downed the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles to advance to the Divisional Round. The Warriors won the final game at Ballpark of Indianapolis HS by a score of 10-1 and the series 4-3. "I'm seeing the ball well and happy to contribute to a win," said Dueñas. "I hope it continues for the rest of the playoffs." For the series, Dueñas hit .429 with a .448 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Nipmuc Regional Warriors will play against the Pope High School Hounds in the next round. Pope High School won their series against the Valley Central Vikings 4 games to 3.
