Alonso Escamez Out for Season Saturday, August 16th , 2031 Alonso Escamez will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Burroughs starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Escamez was injured while throwing a pitch in the Bombers-Eclipse clash at Ballpark of Stockton HS recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 12 months. So far this year Escamez has made 19 starts, tossed 73.1 innings, struck out 65 batters and walked 30. His record is 3-10 with a 6.75 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .286 batting average. |
