Hit Parade: Torres Jr. Pops 5 Hits
Friday, August 8th , 2031
Rick Torres Jr. had an answer for everything the Neilburg Composite Trojans threw at him today at Appalachian Power Park. The James Madison second baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Warhawks on top, 8-4.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Torres Jr. said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

Rick Torres Jr. doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This season Torres Jr. is swinging the bat at a .367 rate with 61 hits in 166 at-bats. To date he has hit 4 home runs, scored 32 runs and driven in 23.
