Big Bang! 3 HR for Blue Mountain's Wester Saturday, July 5th , 2031 Blue Mountain Eagles third baseman Will Wester had a magnificent game against the Har-Ber Wildcats today, rocketing three balls out of Stockton HS Grounds to help the Eagles take the 13-4 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes." For the game, Wester went 3-for-3 with 8 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Blue Mountain manager Oliver Cantú said later. "Seems like Will found his home run stroke today." Will Wester hit a two-run home run off John Dalton in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off John Dalton in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit a GRAND SLAM off David Hill in the 6th. This year Wester is hitting .263 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .358 clip and scored 44 runs. |
