5-Hit Game for Blanco Sunday, June 29th , 2031 Chesterton right fielder Arturo Blanco had a big day at Dukes Ballpark today against the De La Salle Spartans. The 16-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-5 and led the Trojans to a 6-4 triumph over De La Salle. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Blanco said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Arturo Blanco singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Santiago Ojeda in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
