Deer Creek's Rodríguez Sidelined for Season Tuesday, June 24th , 2031 The doctors have spoken and Víctor Rodríguez of the Deer Creek Demolition didn't like what he heard. The 15-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Rodríguez sustained his season-ending injury during the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fightin' Irish game yesterday at Ballpark of Arlington HS. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Deer Creek medical staff reported Rodríguez had a torn labrum and would be absent from the lineup for at least 4 months. Checking out his season stats to date, Rodríguez has no saves in 10 relief appearances. He's posted a record of 0 and 2 with an ERA of 3.93. |
