Hit Streak Over, Mosquitoes Stop Dura Friday, May 9th , 2031 The Mosquitoes stopped Donovan Dura's 21-game hitting streak today at Bakersfield HS Grounds, but they couldn't stop the Indian Trail Hawks, falling by the score of 7-5. Dura didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-2. "It's just as well," Hawks manager Keith Reynolds said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." In his 2031 season totals, Dura has no home runs, .404 BA, .446 OBP, 8 RBIs and 19 runs scored. |
