Dura Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Wednesday, May 7th , 2031 Win or lose, Donovan Dura just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games. The Indian Trail Hawks left fielder went 1-for-4 today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 4-1 by the Mosley Mosquitoes at Bakersfield HS Grounds. "It's amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don't think anybody's really mentioning it," one of his teammates said. "We just don't want to jinx him." Donovan Dura grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and grounded out in the 7th. Thus far in 2031 Dura is hitting .409 with no home runs, 7 RBIs, 16 runs scored and has compiled a .441 OBP. |
