Dowling Has 20-Game Hitting Streak Friday, April 18th , 2031 Hoover left fielder Scott Dowling keeps on racking up hits every time he plays. His hitting streak now stands at 20 games after collecting 1 hit at Laredo HS Grounds today. The Hound Dogs took the 4-1 victory over the Carroll Dragons. "I have been seeing the ball really good the last few weeks, but I am a bit surprised how things are working out," Dowling said. "I've gotten a couple flares to drop in, so I've also been a little lucky." Scott Dowling singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and walked in the 8th. |
