Gowing Takes WC's Best Bat Award Wednesday, October 1st , 2031 Dale Gowing put together a good September to earn the Western Conference Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Fresno State officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Bulldogs left fielder posted a .441 batting average with 11 home runs, 28 RBIs and 27 runs scored. This season in 138 games Gowing is batting .346 with 37 home runs, 111 RBIs and has scored 132 times. |
